Marilyn Boska Obituary
Marilyn was also predeceased by her brothers, Hugh, Donald and Steven. She is survived by a son, Robert Boska of Norwich; daughter Lori (and Daniel) Przybyl of Hillsborough, N.C.; along with four grandchildren: Justine, Josie, Brittany and Michael; and great-granddaughter Quinn.
Mrs. Boska and her husband were members of St. Sophia Hellenic Orthodox Church where Marilyn sang in the choir for more than forty years. They were also the caretakers of the St. John Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery in Montville. Stephen and Marilyn spent many years fishing, lobstering and boating in Long Island Sound which they greatly enjoyed.
The funeral service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, June 21, in St. Sophia Hellenic Orthodox Church in New London. Interment will follow in St. John Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery. There will be a calling hour from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday in the church. Condolences may be shared on Marilyn's memorial page at www.neilanfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Sophia Hellenic Orthodox Church of New London, or St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church of Durham, N.C.

Mrs Boska was the sweetest person - I'm so saddened to hear about her passing. She was the leading soprano in the St Sophia Church choir for so many years and her and my Mom played weddings together at the church for many years. My Mom and her were the best of friends. She was truly the best. My deepest sympathies go out to Bob and the rest of the family at this very hard time. May Her Memory Be Everlasting.....Pete Pantelis, Stratford, CT.

Dear Boska Family,
That voice! That sweet voice of Marilyn will forever be etched in the walls of St. Sophia and now she sings with the angels. I grew up hearing her sing in our choir and she filled our hearts with happiness. One of the sweetest couples they were, Stephen & Marilyn. I miss them both. +May her memory be eternal +
