Most importantly she has made a loving and lasting difference in the lives of hundreds of students and children including her 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Terry's patient and enduring love for children manifested itself in countless ways.

Dear family members of Terry.
I knew her for such a short time, as a wonderful next door neighbor here at Glen Ridge. I have special memories of the evening we spent hearing folk music at the Vanilla Bean. I was constantly surprised by the different hats she had worn, and impressed by her achievements in the field of Early Childhood, an area dear to me (as a pediatric nurse consultant to nursery schools). I'll miss her.

To the family of Terry Dezso
I knew your mom for a long time. When she was at UCONN we were on faculty together. She was a kindness to the world. I also knew her as a parishoner at St. Thomas and such a woman of great faith.. I am sorry for your loss and the loss of the world who really needed more women like her... I shall pray for your memories that they may be as vivid as the day they were created and may those memories bring you comfort.
