I was surprised to receive this reminder of dad in my email. I have wonderful memories and pictures throughout my apartment to reflect the love present within. I was speaking about dad 2 days ago, singing praises about his human service in our world. I love you dad.

Many times I have thought, 'Oh, Dad would appreciate that!' or 'Dad would have thought that was funny!'I know that he is with loved ones in heaven, including our Bonnie Blue, and watching and protecting us from above.

I remember grandaddy for the awesome tour guide he was on the few occasions I visited Plymouth, Mass. We toured the whole place. Cranberry World, the Wampanoag villiage, and Plymouth Rock to name a few. I remember him getting up EARLY in the morning to go get milk and the paper back in the mid 80's. I enjoyed playing cribbage with him. He was a great, intelligent, and caring man.

I remember Rev. Shippee from vacation bible school at the Methodist Church in East Weymouth. I went because my uncle, Herb Josselyn was a member of the church and a teacher that summer. I also remember Carol very well. It was a lovely time and I think of them every time I have been to that church.
My condolences to the family, with sweet memories of a life well lived in service to others. What more could a man ask for, then to be remembered for his love of God and good deeds!

I was but a teen when Rev. Shippee was paster of our home town church in Uncasville, Connecticut. I remember him well, a man to remember, and a paster no one could forget. I have thought through the years many times of him wondering where he went after Glastonbury. My thoughts, prayers and sympathy go to the family.
