Betty Rolapp Obituary
Betty Cross Rolapp, 90, a former resident of Desert Horizon Country Club, in Indian Wells, CA passed away July 9, 2017, at Courtyard Jamestown in Provo, Utah.
Betty was born January 31,1927 in Alliance, Ohio, the daughter of Thomas and Leola Cross.
She was married on November 8,1946 to Edgar Thatcher Rolapp, her loving companion of 62 years, who preceded her in death in 2008.
Betty was an effective leader to many civic and church organizations including serving as a past president of the Desert Horizons Women's Golf Association and a member of The Muses of the McCallum Center, in Palm Desert, California. In addition, she was a philanthropic supporter of the College of The Desert, and The Heart Institute in Rancho Mirage, California.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Barbara Egbert, Lehi, Utah, her son Thomas Rolapp, San Juan Capistrano, CA, 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, Marcine Dickey sister, Monroeville, Pennsylvania, and brother David Cross, Freedom, Pennsylvania.
