Catalino Salazar Castillo

September 28, 1971 - June 25, 2021

Catalino Salazar Castillo, 49, of New Orleans, La passed away Friday, June 25, 2021. Funeral Services are set for 11AM Thursday, August 5 in the St Teresa Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Wednesday, August 4 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Bryan City Cemetery.

Born September 28, 1971 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, he was the son of Catarino Castillo Galvan and Herlinda Salazar. He enjoyed playing as well as watching Soccer. He was a joker and loved making people laugh. Catalino was a loving father, son, brother, and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

His daughter, Isabel Marie Castillo precedes him in death.

Catalino leaves behind to cherish his memories, his parents, Catarion Castillo Galvan and Herlinda Salazar; the mother of his children, Priscilla Hernandez; two sons, Catarino Castillo, and Juan Castillo; a daughter, Marisa Guadalupe Castillo and Corin Wrotten; a brother, Jaime Castillo; three sisters, Erica Castillo and Elias Lopez, Olga Castillo and Raul, and Claudia Castillo and Manuel Chavez; and four grandchildren, Jeremiah Ayalla, Isiah Castillo, Miricale Ortiz, and Jordan Ortiz.
