I don't know how long it had been since we'd been in touch, but I still felt the profound absence when I heard you were gone, and still do today. You were a special guy and a kindred spirit. I wish we had stayed in touch.

Eddie, I think about you often and 10 years seems an eternity. I believe our daughters are about the same age and it make me so sad that she didn't get to know what a wonderful person you were. I pray for you often Eddie. God bless you and your family. I smile when I remember the great times together in High School and College. I am grateful that Murph is keeping this site alive. Peace, Brother.

I never knew Eddie in person, nor him me, but we knew of one another and I oddly think of him rather often wishing I had had the privilege and honor to have met him. I am told we would have "fit" well together sharing our loves and interests. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to read what others have shared, as it makes me feel like I know him a little better.

Edward and Katherine were gracious enough to invite me into their home, even though they only knew me from the forums. Edward inspired me in so many ways, first to get my Redemptor Company finished, and to proceed on with the goal of the entire chapter. Later, he inspired me into the dream of building my own suit of Space Marine armor. She's finished Edward. 10 years later, and 2 years too late, but I know you can see it from where you're at. Thank you my friend. Lord Isaiah, Redemptor Chapter Master

I never met Edward personally, I only encountered him recently via his work on the Space Wolves Forums. But seeing his passion for taking his hobby above and beyond what most people do was inspiring. I can only imagine that he was the same in all aspects of his life.

He is one of the greats, who will be sorely missed.

I knew Eddie well in High School and College. Unfortunately we grew apart, and I had not seen him in over a decade… Growing up in CS, his family always welcomed me, and his other friends into their home, and treated us as true friends. I have often thought of the crazy things we did, and the fun we had, just being teenagers. I still remember him introducing me to “Battletech”, starting me off with a mech, then promptly blowing my head off. We had many late nights with movie marathons, getting into mischief (like toilet-papering some unsuspecting classmate’s house), with other friends—you guys know who you are. I still laugh my head off thinking about our high school English class Shakespeare project—we did “Mr. Bill does Hamlet” (for those of you who don’t know, that was a play-doh guy from SNL). We spent a crash weekend building playdoh figures, making cardboard sets, and running a video camera. We got the only 100% grade in the whole school, as I remember… I wish the best for his wife and daughter, parents, and sister. I would like to thank a mutual friend—Hugh M.--for letting me know of Eddie’s passing. ""Remember, no matter where you go-there you are"" BB

"My condolences to Katherine and the rest of Ed's family at this sad time. I only knew him through the online Warhammer 40k sites, but his legendary dedication to and enthusiasm for his beloved Blood Angels, along with his helpfulness in general to other gamers will long be remembered by the 40k fraternity.

We salute our friend Blood Angel Brother Edward with the battlecry of the Blood Angels Chapter:

"By the blood of Sanguinius!"
