Lynn Bowen Obituary

Lynn F. Bowen, 68, of St. Marys, died at 2 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
He was born Oct. 18, 1949, in Chemung County, New York, the son of Lynn and Betty (Cook) Bowen.
He married Kathy Frey on Sept. 16, 1972 in St. Marys, and she survives at the residence.
He is also survived by his children: Jeremy (Cathie) Bowen of St. Marys and Dawn Harris of Springfield; by his grandchildren and by two step-great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are his siblings, Leland Bowen of St. Cloud, Florida and Pat Heathcoe of Lakeland, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son and a brother.
He was a veteran of the US Army, having proudly served during the Vietnam War.
Funeral rites will will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, with Brother Marvin Levering, officiating. Burial rites will be held at Dayton National Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to Lynn's family. Condolences may be sent to his family via MillerFuneralHomes.net
