Frances Forrer Obituary
December 17, 1931 - September 27, 2024
Frances Fulcher Forrer, age 92, of Wirtz, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024. She was born on December 17, 1931, a daughter of the late Calvert, Sr. and Minnie Mae Stone Forrer. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Troy Fulcher and Taylor Fulcher; one sister, Shirley Wampler.
Mrs. Forrer was a retired teacher with 30 years of service in public schools. She directed many church choirs throughout her career and taught Sunday School classes in northern Virginia. She was a member of Franklin Heights Church in Rocky Mount.
She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Bill Forrer; her son, Joe Forrer (Kim); grandchildren, Kristina Lawson and William J. "Joey" Forrer; brothers, Lester Fulcher (Nancy) and Calvert Fulcher, Jr. (B.J.); and a sister, Cindy Joyce (Steve).
In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to the Good Samaritan Shoe Box, c/o Franklin Heights Church, 110 Hilltop Drive, Rocky Mount, VA 24151 in Mrs. Forrer's name.
A celebration of life service will be conducted 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Franklin Heights Church, Rocky Mount Campus with Pastor Deke Andrews officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. until service time.
