Renoudet, Florence June Daniel was born in Joliet, IL on March 23, 1929 to Edward James Daniel and Margaret Elizabeth Trout Daniel, and died in Burbank, CA on February 18, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her step-mother, Helen Kramer White Daniel, and brother-in-law, Richard Zachary. Following in the steps of her church soloist mother, and as a result of accompanying her to vocal lessons at the age of three, Flo became a coloratura soprano. Her love of music led to her participation in musical and dramatic circles. Invited to sing at innumerable weddings, funerals, and civic functions for many years, Flo was also a choir member and featured soloist at Joliet's First Presbyterian Church. She was the secretary of the national championship Joliet Township High School band under the direction of Bruce Houseknecht from 1948-1955.In addition to her beautiful singing voice, Flo was a talented competitive and synchronized swimmer on Chicago's famed Town Club Swim Team. Flo graduated from Joliet Junior College in 1957 and moved to California where she began a 35-year career in the Music Department of Walt Disney Studios. She was Executive Secretary to Robert Jackman and later Jay Lawton, vital to them both in running the department. She was loved by all at Disney who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Pierre 'Pete' Renoudet and her sister, Dorothy Zachary; nieces, Marisha 'Mari' Zachary-Lyon (Robert) and Mindy Zachary McReynolds (Robert); and nephew Mark Richard Zachary (Maureen). Additionally, those missing Flo are four great-nephews, Todd Stiers, Max Stiers, James Daniel Sumrall, and Noah Zachary; a great-niece, Amanda Sumrall; a great-great niece, Cecelia Foye; and many dear friends and relatives.
