When a man understands that he always stands before something or someone that is infinitely greater than himself, he is truly a humble man.
Larry Patrick was a humble man. Larry lived a life of humility, one of the most precious Christ Like Attributes ever. I was proud to call this man Larry Patrick my friend.

I am truly torn what to write about Larry. He was innately happy and giving. He was grateful for his parents and their siblings growing up. He was happy about the family he and Nancy had. He found great satisfaction and enjoyed the brotherly camaraderie making music with Rick for so long. So many will grieve and miss this good man's presence in their lives.
Larry and I were acquainted as late teens through Nancy and her brother Pat. Larry, Pat and I all played guitar and sang, and like Larry I also composed. My marriage took me to Dallas, TX but when I saw Pat and Nancy's deaths online, I called Larry. By then my husband had died as well, but from that day forward Larry would call me every six weeks or so, and we had years of long, rambling conversations about anything and everything. He became a well-loved brother in the Lord to me, so I will miss his voice as well. But, . . . we agreed that if the Lord took one of us before seeing each other again in this world, we'd look for each other at The Marriage Supper of the Lamb. And someday that WILL happen. In the meantime, I'm sure he's already heard, "Well done, my good and faithful servant," and I rejoice that Larry is in God's presence and among the many who have gone before him to Glory, something of which we often spoke and he often sang.
Though unable to be present tomorrow, I will be with you in spirit. Much care and love.

Larry is a great friend who has left me with incredible memories. Many didn´t know that Olive Garden has been a great part of our good friendship, and the times when he would come over with KFC and we would sit on my patio with his daughter Marlene. We would chat the whole time with so much laughter; just uplifting times. Larry will surely be remembered.

Marlene & Laura.....I am deeply sorry on the passing of your dad. Used to go to Homer Congregational with him. Truly a Christian, great guy, and a gentle spirit. And your mother. She surely went thru a rough time before she went home to be with the Lord. Well they are together now. You truly had great parents. All my best. Take care & God Bless...Don Shepherd
