I'm sorry to hear of Leonard's death. He was my mom's (Julie Mathers Tague) cousin, and we always enjoyed his company at family dinners.

I am the daughter of Betty Mather Breuss Lenze and sorry to hear of his passing. I remember my grandmother Louise and my Mom speaking fondly of him and have vague memories as well.

I am Antoinette (Toni) Mather Heussner´s daughter and for many years I would call my cousin Leonard Heinz around Christmas time. I seemed to have lost contact with him around Covid time and since that time when I would try calling his voicemail would be full. I remember going to a celebration in Illinois with my Mom and was asked to dance with Leonard. To this day I never forgot that dance!

When he was around, the family was always in a celebratory mode. I loved his visits. What a treasure to know him. The world, with him, was all about dancing. Now the heavens are all about dancing. We'll miss your joy, Leonard.

I will miss my cousin,Leonard Heinz, a lot. I was unable to be with him very much due to living in Florida. But, our phone calls were always a blast. He had quite the sense of humor. Was a kind, gentleman and loved by all who knew him. His mother and my grandmother, Clara Mather Hennes, were sisters. Gail Reich Dahn
