Carlos Aponte Obituary
Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Domingo and Catalina Soto Aponte. Mr. Aponte was a long time Norwalk resident and had owned the El Amor Café in South Norwalk.
Survivors in addition to his wife are two daughters; Maria Aponte Vargas and her husband Antonio and Elsie Aponte Booker and her companion Rick Roman; seven grandchildren, Carlos, Anthony, Isaiah, Ricky, Giovanni, Lexie and Aliyah; nine siblings, Tomasa, Nilda, Esther, Elizabeth, Norma, Maria, Nelson, Tito and William and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday at 12:00 NOON at the Pentecostal Church, John 3:16, 8 Woodward Avenue, Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Richards Avenue, Norwalk.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday morning from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the church.
Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk are in care of the arrangements.
