George Iosifidis Obituary
George Iosifidis age 42 of Norwalk, Connecticut passed away on December 6th in Hartford, Connecticut. Born on December 2nd, 1978 in Norwalk Hospital he was the son of Despina and Jimmy Iosifidis. George attended Norwalk High School while he worked for his father at J&H Imported Cars, which is where his passion for the auto industry started, until starting his career at Toyota of Stamford as Sales Manager. After leaving Toyota, George became an entrepreneur which is where he truly shined. He loved to go fishing, he loved going to the Bouzoukia, he loved Greece, he loved the beach, he loved to travel, he enjoyed cooking, and he definitely knew how to enjoy the finer things in life and took great joy in sharing them with those around him. He loved his family and friends but most of all he loved his son Dimitri. He was the apple of his eye, his everything and more.
George is survived by his son Dimitrios Alexander Iosifidis 14, the mother of his child Amanda Piccarreto, his mother Despina Iosifidis, his father James Iosifidis, his sister Krystal Grace Iosifidis, his brother Tony Iosifidis, and his Agapi (Love) Maria Pertesis. His grandparents Tony Iosifidis and Sophia Iosifidis are now with him in Heaven.
Friends may call, Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk, masks required. Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in St. George's Greek Orthodox Church, 238 West Rocks Rd., Norwalk. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery at 223 Richards Ave., Norwalk, CT.

I dated George’s brother Tony years ago. Our relationship was on and off.... definitely more off than on. I was living in George’s house and even when Tony and I basically were not a couple...he wasn’t happy about it ... lol but he looked out for people ... he liked to help people. He is def looking out for hos loved ones in heaven . So whenever you see a fishing boat, or an advertisement for Las Vegas think of George or better yet just look into his Son Dimitri’s eyes and you will see George looking right back at you. Xoxo
