Gary Schultz Obituary
NEWARK, NY - Gary D. Schultz, 66, died Saturday, January 23, 2010. Service at the First United Methodist Church on January 27th. Burial in East Newark Cemetery.
Memorials in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1400 Winton Road, N. Rochester, NY 14609.
Mr. Schultz was born in Naples on April 27, 1943, the son of Denton and Enid Perry Schultz. He graduated from Trumansburg High School in 1961 and from Penn State in 1965. He worked at Sarah Coventry, Key Industries, and Wal-Mart in Newark.
Gary is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dian Harrington Schultz; daughter, Jennifer (Sean) Beattie; three sons, Kevin (Stacy), Stephen (Debra) and Mark (Brandi); 10 grandchildren; his mother, Enid Schultz; two sisters, Diane (Carlton) Stone and Kathy (Wayne) Spaulding; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Denton.

So sorry to read about Gary's passing. I haven't seen you in years, but saw Paul a few times in the bank back in the 90's and he would often speak of you. My thoughts are with you.

Diane,
I am so sorry to hear about your husband Gary. It didn't occur to me when I read it on the prayer chain from the church I didn't connect the two his mother and him and you. I hadn't seen him at Walmart but I haven't really been down there in a while. He was a really big asset to Walmart and he will be missed I am sure. God Bless you and your family you all are in my prayers at this time. Take care

I was so sorry to hear about Gary's passing. I worked with him at Sarah Coventry and spent a lot of time talking to him while he was working at Wal-Mart. I missed seeing him there,
He will be missed greatly.

Dian, Jennifer, Kevin, Stephen, Mark,
We are so sorry to hear about Gary; and more sorry that we are not up there and able to give you our love and support. You all have a special place in our hearts and will remain there, forever. Dian, you and Gary raised a wonderful family and we have many fond memories of our interactions over the years.
We are down in Sarasota Fl until the middle of May, but we will make plans to see you when we return.

Diane: Anne & I were saddened to read of Gary's passing in the paper. It's a shame we didn't spend time together. Gary was one of the nicest people we ever met and we both enjoyed the time the four of us worked and played together. You have our deepest sympathies.
