I was a patient of Dr.Clark for around 20 years. There´s kind of an oddness to Groton N.Y. and Peter the hippie doctor was the main character. I remember he always had soft folk music in the waiting room that was nice. He had a way about him just being in his presence you knew everything was going to be ok. I started listening to folk music and I grew a beard I am sure he had a big influence on that, I wanted to be like him and send out a positive message to the world. I revisited this site a bunch of times it was usually when I was not feeling well and miraculously just seeing his picture I felt better. Best, Brian

I was a classmate of Peter in the Yale School of Architecture class of 1976, and worked with Peter at Sunsearch from 1976-83. This photo is from our 40th Class Reunion in 2016. He was a diligent and intelligent worker and friend, and a very interesting person with whom I enjoyed studying and working.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Peter's death. I grew up with him, went to school with him, square danced with him at age 10, and always had the utmost respect for him. He was wise beyond his years, was someone whose good opinion mattered to me, and in many ways he was a major influence in my life. We briefly reconnected at a contra dance in the late 1980's, and I always hoped we would run into each other again. It grieves me that that will never happen.
My sympathy goes out to his wife and family.

My deepest sympathy to Dr. Peter Clark's wife Katherine Wolf, son Micah (Heather), daughter Jessica, and brother Daniel (Ruth). I was just stunned to read about the Peter's death and very sad too that I didn't get to attend his service. I will always remember Peter as a wonderful human being, flexible, supportive of others, and fun loving. I was glad to learn that he had gone into medicine and it does not surprise me to read the comments from his patients. He must have been a great doctor. Again, shocked and saddened, and just wanted to offer my condolences.

Many years ago when a Doctor would actually call a family member on the phone, and explain what was happening with their loved one, that was Dr. Peter Clark. What is so amazing about Dr. Clark is that he was only around 40 years old at the time. That was another era, another lifetime ago. Always remember what he said and his love, compassion, caring, gentleness, kindness cannot be surpassed today. Would say to his beloved family and friends, "Even though you are in a better place now, you will be greatly missed". Thank you. Nancy Soderstrom Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Clark Family,
I and my late parents were patients of Dr. Clark for nearly 20 years. We found him to be not only knowledgeable, informative, skilled, and up-to-date on the latest developments and research, but compassionate, empathetic, kind, patient, and considerate as well.
My mother always enjoyed bantering with him when he stopped by her room at GCHCC for a check-up and very much missed his presence when he retired. He was a darling man and will be missed by a great many people.
My condolences and best wishes to all of you,
Ruth Lewis
