TOMMY DAGHITA JR.
ITHACA - Tommy Daghita Jr., 75, passed away on September 9, 2003, at Hospicare.He was born in Ithaca on October 18, 1927 to Mary O'Leary and Thomas Daghita. Tommy loved to cook for his family and friends and was always helping out at the VFW of Ithaca and the Sons of Italy in Sayre, PA. He loved to hunt and shoot bow and arrow of which he had many trophies. Tom was married to Patricia (Job) in 1947, a blessed union of 50 years. She passed away in 1996.He is Survived by three sons, Bradford (Pat), Terry (Pat), Robin (Pam) Daghita; daughter, Cheryl (Bob) White; sisters, Marsiellee Campbell, Carolyn (Louie) Mikula, Nina Daghita; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; special aunt, Bendina O'Connor and one other; uncles and many cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter, Bonnie Marie; and brother, Roger (Harry) Daghita.Entombment will be at 11 a.m. Monday, September 15, at Queen of Peace Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery, where he will join his wife for a wonderful hereafter.Please make contributions to Hospicare in his name.
