To the Warfield Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy for you and your family.
Some of my most memorable Red Cross Days include Charlie and Martha Warfield.
One of the most memorable events was on our way to a Red Cross National convention 1976 aboard an American Airlines flight. Charlie stood up in the front of the plane and demanded the stewardess not serve me. Not because of my color, it turned out. It was because I was too young
The passengers held their breaths. I stood up and replied: "That's my daddy. Sit down daddy.
Charlie then said it was OK. That was a typical Charlie Warfield stunt.
Charlie Horace Warfield, Sr. was a class act.
Rest in peace Charlie, and thanks for being my friend.

Charlie was one of the kindest men to walk this earth. He always had time for a story or discuss a current event. Charlie will be missed by all he touched.

Charlie and Martha Warfield were great stewards. They loved life and invested in people, especially young people. Countless young attorneys and their spouses and their children owe the Warfields a huge debt of gratitude. Wonderful role models, and friends. Well done! Steve and Ellen Ramp

I remember all the times Charlie helped me organize MIRIAMS PROMISE, and all the other work we did. I am so sorry my dementia will not allow me to attend his visitation and funeral
