Uncle Larry was a very sweet and loving man. I remember me and my family were lucky enough to have Auntie Mildred and uncle Larry stay at our house. I loved listening to his detailed stories, the kush maker was my favorite :) He had a good sense of humor and a big heart. We all miss you so much Uncle Larry!
Love, Jillene

Poppy, It's been over two weeks now, and though I'm doing much better, there is no way to ever think I'll ever stop missing you. I miss you more than I ever thought possible. I am so glad that I had you as my grandfather, who I know will love me always and forever, no matter what. I'm so glad that the last thing I said to you was that I love you. I will always miss you, always love you, and I look forward to the day that I'll see you again. I know it won't be long off, but the time seems to go on forever. I'm so glad that you loved me so much, and that you have always been so proud of me. I love you Poppy. I miss you so much. I've been thinking about how you used to call me "Your Majesty" when I was little; I can still hear the way you said Gracie, and the way you called me your Teddybear. I remember how you'd sing "Amazing Grace" slow and off-key, but I always sang along. Just remembering, I hope over the long years, I will never forget the sound of your voice. Thank you for being my Poppy and my number 1 fan. I love you <3

Thank you for being the special person you were. You always brought laughter to our family. You will be missed in ways we could have never imagined. I will never eat another pancake without thinking of you. Thanks for all the laughter and joy you brought into our lives. Your smile will forever be in my heart. You always treated me as one of your own, not just an "in-law" but a daughter of your heart. I will never forget the first thing that came out of your mouth when we first met. You sang "Here she comes, Miss America" Just like you had been waiting for me to arrive. I will miss you always, but I know where you are and you will forever be in my heart.
