Truck Driver
LAKELAND - Mr. Dwayne A. Sweeney, 69, passed away Nov. 26, 2007 of cancer.
Mr. Sweeney was born in Kamas, UT on May 25, 1938 to Alvin and Ethelene Sweeney.
Dwayne was a truck driver for Bynum Transport for 25 years, and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of L.D.S. He enjoyed spending time with his family in his spare time.
Mr. Sweeney was preceded in death by 3 sons and a daughter. He is survived by his sons, Alvin and Mark Sweeney, Robert Minter; daughter, Susan Culbreath; brothers, Charles and James Sweeney; sisters, Alvalene Rule, Margaret Bryant, Connie Collins, Bonita Jones, Judy K. Riley, Laura Maxine Ward and Patricia Berry; 7 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wed. from 6-8pm at Gentry-Morrison Southside Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Thurs. 10 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of L.D.S., 2337 Crystal Lake Dr. S., Lakeland. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to, Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL 33823.
