IDA BIRD Obituary
LAKELAND - Ida Bird met her Heavenly Father and claimed her mansion in glory on January 10, 2021, after a long battle with dementia. Ida was born in Beaver Falls, PA, on 6/19/26. After attending S.E. Univ., she was a minister's wife & raised a family while her husband, Oscar Bird, pastored at various Assembly of God churches.
Survivors include Miki (Richard) Jackson, Tim Bird, Beckie Crawford (Guy) Smith, and Debe (David) Striker, along with 6 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren.
The Bird family has fond memories of their mom's fudge, vanilla taffy, Sloppy Joes, homemade bread, & the best pot roast ever! She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Ps. 121:1-2 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord which made heaven and earth.
Memorial service at a later date.
