"JD" CLYATT, 30
LAKELAND - Mr. James Dennis (JD) Clyatt passed away Saturday (September 8, 2012) as a result of an auto accident.
JD was the beloved son of Dennis and Mary Ann Clyatt. He is survived by his loving and wonderful fiancé, Linda Garzoria; son, Lathen Clyatt; daughter, Breanna Clyatt; sisters, Jessica Clyatt and Jennifer Smith; grandmother, Barbara Stroud; and grandparents, Buddy and Margaret Clyatt; aunts, Bonny Smith and Dana Smith; uncle, Charlie Clyatt; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends.
He was a wonderful father to his children. James was an avid fisherman and loved anything to do with the water. He loved spending time at his son's baseball games and playing games with his daughter.
Funeral services will be held at Trinity Life Church of God, 1942 West Memorial Blvd., Lakeland on Wednesday Sept. 12, 2012 at 10:00 AM
In lieu of Flowers, please make donations to the South Lakeland Flying Tigers, 7310 Millbrook Oaks Drive, Lakeland, Florida 33813.

Damn can't believe tomorrow makes a year you've been gone ,its crazy how time flies by so fast. Even though we didn't see each other or hang out as much before u passed I still think about you and miss you , you were one of the few Friends Jojo had that I looked up to as another big brother , your family is still in my prayers daily and I know ure looking down on them. RIP to my brother from another mother, till we meet again.

First off I was in complete shock when I heard what happened. I still can't beileve it. My heart goes out to his family , Linda , his Son and Daughter, and his friends who were there with him on a daily basis. I havent hung out with or seen J.D. in about 11 years but I have some pretty awesome memories that include him. I was the snotty little tag along sister to him ,Gerard ,Jojo, Ricky and a few others .I may not have been blood related but they looked out for me and I will never forget J.D. Church was some good times to and church camp, we had some pretty awesome times all of us and those are the memories we need to hold on to the good ones and rememeber him as the big oe teddy bear he was and how he had the kindest heart. He will forever be remembered in my heart as well as many others.

Words just seem so inadequate right now. I know there is NOTHING I can say that could possibly make this better. What I DO know is that JD was an amazing fiancee to my friend Linda. He made her SO happy. I am so thankful that he came into her life and blessed her with a beautiful baby girl, not to mention a step son she absolutely adores. I know it's hard for us to comprehend of understand why bad things happen to good people, but I pray that the Clyatt and Garzoria families can find peace and comfort somehow. It makes me so happy to know that JD was saved and that you all will reunite one sweet day. RIP JD. Thank you for touching all of the lives that you made a difference in. I sure felt the love today at your funeral. <3

JD made my friend Linda so happy. I only got to meet him a handful of times but he was always so pleasant. I am so thankful he came into her life and gave her a beautiful little girl. May you RIP JD, and I pray for peace and comfort for Linda, the precious babies, and the entire Clyatt family.

If I had only known that seeing you in the grocery store was going to be the last time. I would have told you then that knowing you helped to make me the person that I am today. I would have told you that the friendships that we all built together were some of the best that I have ever had. We were the goonies, we were wild and crazy, but no matter what we were we were all together. Some of the best times of my life were spent when we were all together. The last time that I see you, you were telling me about your beautiful fiance and how proud you were to be a daddy. I left that conversation feeling better than before it knowing how happy you were. That is the way that I will keep you in my heart forever. This is not how we pictured our story to be told. But for me, my story is a lot better knowing that you were a part of it.
