CELANI, 55

LAKELAND - John Celani, age 55, of Lakeland, FL, passed away on January 15, 2015.
He was born on April 3, 1959, in Pittsburgh, PA. Between his love of classic cars, construction, and professional truck driving, John did anything and everything necessary to provide for his family. He is predeceased by his father Vittorio Celani, his brother Franko Celani, his brother-in-law Joseph H Figura III, and his father-in-law Joseph H. Figura, Jr.
John is survived by his loving wife Sharon Kapolka Celani, mother-in-law Mrs. Donna Figura and Mr. Bill Corne, his four kids: son John J. Celani and wife Melynda Celani, son Anthony L. Celani, daughter Kalee Celani, son Brian J. Kapolka and wife Kate Kapolka. His pride and joy, however, were his three grandchildren: Lailah Celani, Elijah and Hayden Griffin. He will also be remembered by his sister-in-law Sue Figura, niece Brea Figura, nephew Joe Figura and wife Sunny Figura, niece Andrea Celani, nephew Christopher Celani, as well as extended family and friends.
John lived his life for his family and will not be forgotten due to the sacrifices he made to ensure their health and happiness. Besides his family, he loved to read, classic and muscle cars, spoiling his grandchildren, and R.C. model planes.
There will be a memorial service on Thursday, January 22, 2015, at 11 am at the Northside Assembly of God (860 1st Ida St., Winter Haven), followed by a luncheon at Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club (2888 Southern Dunes Blvd, Haines City).
