LAKELAND - John M. Houseman went to be with his Lord on Friday (April 26, 2013).
Born in Bridgeport, CT, on April 13, 1928, he came here at the age of 2. He was an owner/operator of Commercial Rental Property.
Mr. Houseman was preceded in death by his wife Patricia "Pat" Houseman; brother Paul; sisters Elizabeth and Mary. He is survived by his wife Carole Houseman; daughter Phoebe H. (Terry) Flynn; stepsons Calvin (Terri) and Curtis Castillo; brothers Willard, Fred, Stephen (Ruth), David (Laura) Houseman; sisters Clara (Wayne) Harrelson, Fern (Phillip) Jensen, Hannah (Cleve) Bates, Margaret Gilchrest, Priscilla (Joe) Bryant, Susanna (Hal) Haller; grandchildren J.W. Flynn, James (Chloe), Carole, Brandi, Miranda; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice or the charity of your choice.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Lanier Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. Interment will be in Oak Hill Burial Park.

Fred and I are so sorry about Johnny. We knew him over the years when he was building. He will surely be missed. Our prayers are with the family.
