LAKELAND - Mr. Lewis F. Lytle, age 83, died of heart failure Sunday (June 22, 2008).
Born in Atlanta, Ga., he retired from Thatcher Glass Co. in Elmira, N.Y. He was past president of the Local 180 GBBA. Mr. Lytle enjoyed golf, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII.
He was preceded in death by his wife Audrey (2005) and two sons, Daniel and David. He is survived by sons Brad and Bruce, both of N.Y., and John of TN.; daughters Marie Kraetsch of WI., and Judith Stevens of Lakeland. He is also survived by sister Grace Lewellen of TX., many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Auburndale.

I worked at Thatchers when Loui was there. Remember telling him I went to Adorandacks and saw his lake (Loui Lake) He was good man sorry to hear he is gone.
