MARIAH KING Obituary

MARIAH ALEXIS
KING, 19

DAVENPORT - Mariah King, 19, was taken from us on Oct. 7, 2013 as the result of a car accident. Also taken was her fiancé, Vincent Mathews, 24. Both will be forever loved & missed.
From childhood Mariah had a special love for life. She loved photography & animals, especially cats. Even though she was mostly deaf, she loved music & dancing. She also loved the beach & theme parks. Fearless, Mariah overcame many obstacles in life & was eager to learn new things. Determined to graduate and go on to college or work, she was in the process of returning to the FL. School for the Deaf & Blind to obtain her high school diploma. She wanted to prove that she could & would succeed in life.
Rest in peace my sweet girl Mariah & a man that I would have been honored to call my son in law, Vincent. Until we see you again take care of each other as you did in life.
Mariah is survived by her parents Susan Dennis, David Bazzett, Lisa Has-ler (god mother) Jay Hough (god father), sisters Cheyenne Dennis, Ciara Dennis, Michelle Mercer, maternal grandparents Richard & Brenda Uber, paternal grandparents Thomas & Gladys Marsh, 1 aunt, 3 cousins, 2 great uncles, 2 great aunts, 2 second cousins & numerous other extended family & friends.
A celebration of Life service will be Sat., Oct. 19 at 1 pm at 1000 Main St., Davenport, inside Florida Camp Inn off Hwy 27 North. Condolences may be sent via:

Mariah, you've brought me lot of laughing when you were my student in dorm for 2 years. You always love to entertain me and others with your sense of humors. You made my job so fun and you've always want to prove hearing people that deaf can do anything like hearing. You always determine to believe in yourself that you can successful. You told me last August how much you are excite to go back to FSDB made me so proud. The day I found out you went to Heaven, I was heartbroken and very sad because your dreams are gone. Your favorite staff, Bonnie

I am so sorry to hear that.
I remember Mariah when she attended
Alta Vista. She would always hug my son
Clayton Carter when he went to Alta Vista, or when we seen her at walmart.
She is a very sweet girl.
We all have a hope to see our loved ones again in the resurrection.
