MARLENE
BLANTON, 80

PLANT CITY - Marlene Blanton, 80, a lifetime resident of Plant City, Florida, entered into eternal life on November 29, 2011, due to complications from a stroke.
She was a member of Church on the Rock. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Osie Blanton; sons Bruce Blanton (Carla), and Darryl Blanton (Suzanne); sister Peggy Watkins; grandchildren Christopher, Robert, Eric (Rachel), Jason, Katherine, and Daniel; and great grandchildren Hunter and Elijah.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 2 from 6-8:00 P.M. at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 CR 39 S, Plant City. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 3 at 11:00 A.M. at Hopewell Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Hopewell Funeral Home, Plant City. Expressions of condolence at

Marlene was a wonderful person and she will be missed by many friends and family. I went to Turkey Creek School with her. We graduated in 1949. God Bless her memory and her entire family.
