Mary was the most vibrant person I have ever known. Always classy, always friendly, and always kind. She made an impact on everyone she met as she never met a stranger. Whenever I think of her I smile. I will miss her very much. My prayers for her family and friends,

Mary Lois Mitchell Perry Smith was a very special lady. Her mom Betty Ruth was our Mom- June Chesney's best friend. Mary was like a sister to me & my siblings growing up. And her brother Leon was like another brother to me. All of her immediate family left this world much too soon. I am certain once Mary knew she was going to be leaving this earth, she was looking forward to seeing her family once again in Heaven. Wish we would have known she was ill my sister & I would have found a way to see her 1 more time in this life. I am so sorry for your loss, she was such a special person!

I worked with Mary when she was the rep for Eye Specialists and they are the Horseshoe sponsor for Polk Senior Games. She was one of the nicest people to work with and she always came out to the Horseshoe event and helped as a scorekeeper. Everyone loved her. We send our condolences to her family and Eye Specialists.

Mary was the most loving, funny and genuine person I have ever met. She always had a smile and a kind word no matter what she was going through. Mary and I and several others participated in the Belk Day of Pampering for many years and Mary always made it fun and made us all laugh. Even when she couldnt participate she still came and supported the rest of us. Mary I will miss your beautiful spirit and smile and your love for your God. Thank you for all the great memories I will treasure forever!!

I'm not sure why Mary and I never got close because I know that we were probably kindred spirits. Mary had such a beautiful soul and was one of the first to befriend me when I started Eye Specialist of Mid-Florida back in 1990. Being a single mother it was difficult to socialize as all my time was spent on my children but Mary made an effort to include me in her social groups. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and closest friends as when will truly be missed.

he was such a beautiful person. Sitting behind her in church weekly and the occasional look of her praising her God have me chills knowing what she was going through. She always showed grace and gratefulness. I will miss seeing her smile.
