Today is the celebration of life. Such a great man. I love him so much. And miss him even more. I'm glad that I got the opportunity to be his first grandchild. And learned so much from him.

My condolences to the Prunier family. I learned so much in his Social Studies class at Broadway. Several lessons I first learned in that 7th grade classroom were presented again at the college level, but never with his flair! He had such boundless energy and brought his very best to the classroom. Thank you for always treating us like scholars.

To the Prunier Family,
My deepest sympathy to all of your family. I was a History Club Student with Mr. Prunier in 1978. I will never forget our trip to New York City. He took us to the top of the World Trade Center (Twin Towers) and the top of the Statue of Liberty, along with several more memories. He was one of the kindest teachers I ever had. So sorry to hear of his passing. He really touched a lot of lives in his lifetime. God Bless all of you. May he rest in Peace.
Love,
Mary McLaughlin

Mr. Prunier was my 7th grade history teacher at Broadway. He taught more than a class and took vested interest in a scrawny little kid like me. He helped me take trip with fellow classmates to Montreal. I pray God will help assuage your grief and know his influence extended far beyond what you can imagine. He was a great man.

To the Prunier Family,
Mr. Prunier was my favorite teacher at Broadway JH back in the 70's. The trip he and Mrs. Prunier took us on to NYC was exciting and educational. Mr. Prunier organized a food drive with the History Club for my family and the Wood family when our fathers were out on strike from NY Telephone Co. We knew nothing about it until he showed up at my parent's door with a turkey and all the fixings for Thanksgiving dinner.
I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting up with him when he visited CCTC a little over a year ago. I reintroduced myself to him and he recognized me almost immediately. Even though it had been well over 40 years since I had seen him, he hadn't really changed. He was a bit older and a bit grayer, but still had the same sparkle in his eyes and that wonderful smile. I am glad I was given that opportunity to tell him how much he had inspired me and to thank him for his teaching.
Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Mr. Prunier is in a better place, picking apples for the history club with my parents!

Eileen & Family,
Sending thoughts and prayers to all of you. Paul was a wonderful man and educator. Terry and I thought very highly of both of you.
I wish I had known you were in Lakeland because I would have come to visit. You are not far from me (about 40 miles). I am living between Elmira and Florida.
God be with all of you.

Eileen and all of Paul's family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Paul will always be remembered for his enthusiasm in whatever endeavors he undertook. I was so lucky to begin my teaching career at Broadway and able to see Paul bring enthusiasm and humor into his History classroom. He was a daily reminder that learning really is fun! Take comfort in the knowledge that he had a huge impact on so many lives that were better because of what he offered them and did for them. He truly was a great man.
