RALPH BARTOS Obituary
BARTOS, 78
LAKELAND - Ralph Joseph Bartos, 78, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 18, 2018. He was born in Cheyenne, WY on July 2, 1940 to the late Josef and May Bartos.
Ralph served proudly in the U.S. Army, finishing his service at MacDill Air Force Base. He worked for the Florida Department of Revenue as a Tax Auditor, was a long time member of Griffin Baptist Church, loved to fish, enjoyed visiting the mountains, and in his younger years, he was an avid hunter.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Bartos; sons, Michael (Erin) Bartos and David (Heather) Bartos; grandchildren, David Bartos, Jr., Joshua Bartos, Alex Bartos, and Megan Bartos.
Visitation will be held at Lakeland Funeral Home on Thursday August 23, from 4:30-6:30pm; service will follow at 6:30 pm. Graveside service will be at Lakeland Memorial Gardens on Friday, August 24, at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made in Ralph's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or Florida Baptist Children's Home
( www.fbchomes.org ).
