ALTMAN, 86

LAKELAND - Robert L. Altman, age 86, of Lakeland, FL, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2014 due to natural causes.
He was born in Hamilton on July 22, 1927 to Eldon and Mildred (Sutton) Altman. He married June Brown on March 4, 1949 in Hamilton.
Robert was retired from Western States Machine Company.
He is survived by his wife, June Altman; sons, David (Teresa) Altman and Thomas (Christa) Altman; grandchildren, Nicole (Adam) Roether and Stacey (Jeff) Akers; step grandchildren, Michele Swagler and Jennifer Swagler; and great-grandchildren, Haedyn and Christian Roether. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Elda Mae (Smith) Ballinger.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Monday, February 10, 2014, at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue. Funeral Service will be 10 am, Tuesday, February 11, 2014, also at the funeral home on Pershing Avenue. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718. Condolences can be made at
