LAKELAND - Bob Andrew, age 80, passed away on December 11, 2017 peacefully to a much better life. He was born in Newark, NJ on December 2, 1937.
Bob graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Business and continued his education at LSU receiving a Masters in Banking. He retired as a lifelong banker in 2000. He spent many hours serving and volunteering in the community. He served as past president of The Lakeland Rotary Club, past president of the Polk Theater, past president of the State Prevention of Blindness, past Trustee of the Lakeland Regional Medical Center, and was one of the original starters of Community Southern Bank, serving as chairman of the board.
He was baptized and attended The First Baptist Church at the Mall.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Anna Andrew and step mother Arlene Andrew.
Bob is survived by his wife, Cecelia Andrew, 3 sons, Bobby, Richard, and Scott Andrew, and daughter, Anne-Marie Hearn (Walter), 3 step sons, Terry Harris, Tim Harris (Rhonda), Kenneth Harris (Michelle), and 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Heath Funeral Chapel in Lakeland, Florida.
Funeral Service will be held at 2p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Heath Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Oak Hill Burial Park, Lakeland, Florida. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.heathfuneralc hapel.com .

Cecelia, Chuck and I have just become aware of Bob's passing due to all the cars in front of your house. We are so sorry. Chuck gets the Ledger but for some reason he missed the news. Again, we are so sorry and we know how hard this time has been for you. Please know we are just down the street and would love to do what we can to ease your pain.
