Tommy, as I knew him, was my uncle. Through events, my brother, Robert, and I lost touch with him. Consequently we did not know him or his family. It is wonderful to see he had a loving family and was admired by many. I mourn your loss. We lost our dad Leroy (Sonny) in 2015. So...prayers and condolences to the other Landers families...

Dad...You will be greatly missed by so many people. You have no idea the impact you had on so many people throughout the years. Someone always shares a great story about you with me. Those great stories along with my many memories keep you alive in my heart...like the time you were a police officer in Minersville and you thought it would be funny to pull your son over, putting every flashing light and spot light on me. I was going to try to out run you but what if it wasn't you?? I remember the fun times at the Curran Hotel laughing at the town drunks. I am so proud to be able to share the same name with you. A day does not go by that I don't think of you. Looking forward to visiting you in Florida. I love you and miss you, Dad...Tommy

Well honey this is it ! The finality of everything hit me when we had your military service at Sarasota National . It was perfect ! You tried so hard to get through this unexpected journey of life and I tried to save you but it wasn't in the cards dealt ! Your last wish was that I have a life because you didn't . You will be with me on my next venture even though it's not the one I chose! I see you at 3 in the morning with your flashlight . " Anyone here ? I'm hungry " . We had a great life not always perfect but have 3 wonderful children and 3 great grandkids . I'll cherish and remember everyday of our 45 years together . See you in heaven ! Keep those pearly gates open for me!

Dad...there are so many characteristic traits I have of yours that will carry your life inside of me for a very, very long time. I will miss your stubbornness, believe it or not. It was always fun bantering back and forth and making you smile when you tried so hard not to. I love you and I will be visiting you soon. Dear Marlyn, Tom, Janel and Audra, Tom fought long and hard during his extended health battles. He is at peace. I'll miss his golf course profanity and constant threats to quit this stupid game. I have nothing but fond memories of our time together and I will smile as I think of him often.

It is with a heavy heart I write theses condolences to you on Tom's passing. You both were such good friends over the years and Jackie and I couldn't help but laugh when reminiscing some of the fun we shared together. From the annual Halloween parties we had at your house in West West Terrace to the many wedding receptions we attended together, I will always remember Tom's deep infectious laugh. I can't help but laugh now as I remember him that way. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

To Tom's family, I am sorry to read about your loss. I knew young Tommy in passing, as I was a close friend of his older brother Billy whilst growing up in Minersville. Spent much time in his mom's apartment on East Laurel Street reading comic books of the late 1940s/early 50, which inspired me to become a comic strip artist.

Sincerest Condolences go out to the Extended Landers family... I only met Tom a few times , very nice gentleman, and very funny.. Like I always said "ONLY the GOOD DIE YOUNG" .... From the stories that Jack told me, he should of lived until he was 200 !! Rest in Peace Tom.... God Bless the IRISH !!
