LAKE ALFRED - Ted Pepkowski died May 27, 2013 of renal and respiratory complications at Winter Haven Hospital, Winter Haven , FL.
Ted was born the son of Walter and Mary Pepkowski on November 7, 1933. He was a loving husband and father to his 2 children and a devoted grandfather to his 2 grandchildren. Ted was a veteran of the US Navy and a hard working man as a Millright at LTV steel in East Chicago, IN, which he retired after 32 years of service. After retiring Ted and his wife Marcia moved to Cypress Greens in Lake Alfred, FL in 2004 and lived there together for 10 years. He enjoyed playing golf (had a HOLE in 1) and made many new friends. He will be missed by many.
Ted is survived by his loving wife, Marcia of 49 years of marriage and his 2 loving children: Dan Pepkowski of Schererville, IN and Kim Golec of Abgindon, MD; his 2 beloved grandchildren Justin Golec and Morgan Golec of Abingdon, MD; brothers Andrew and Frank Pepkowski of Schererville, IN.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Ted was also a devoted Catholic. Any condolences please email to: [email protected].

Marcia I am so sorry to hear about Ted, Andy just called me today and I just want to say if there is anything I can do and if you have a memorial for Ted please let me know. He will be missed he was a great man.

Ted was always a quiet and nice kind of guy and my favorite brother in law for so many years. We are sorry that he will no longer be with us but we know he has reached his home with the Lord and we will keep him in prayer as well as in our most treasured memories.
