Still loving and missing you every day Tio Fred. One of my favorite memories together from when I was a little kid is finding comic books in your room and one of them was wonder woman. It was the first wonder woman comic book I had ever seen, and I was so excited. It really shaped my memories and childhood.Thank you uncle Fred, I know you are with God.

Fred my brother, there is no one as special as you. You made us all laugh, we knew that whenever you were around us, we would be entertained. Thanks for being "you". Thank you for doing so much for my kids and your good advice. I hope to be more like you,... so loved by all, because you were always willing to forgive those that hurt you. But most of all I want to love God like you did "manito". I plan to meet you on that beautiful shore. Your sister, Lolly

Uncle Fred was the first to praise our accomplishments as if they were his own. He gave meaningful advice from his own experiences. "Hey listen, listen" he would say with his finger pointing and shaking. I love Uncle Fred. He left lasting memories that make me smile. God bless. May we all "listen a little better, love a little more and laugh often. I'm glad you are with my dad Uncle Fred, I look forward to laughing with you both again.

Uncle Fred was a friendly and funny man. He was always making people laugh and thinking of others. He was like a father to our little cousin Jeff, and a staple in our life at Grandma's house. He is and will continue to be missed and loved,.. thank you for all the fun times and memories Tio Fred, God keep you.
Love, Marky and the Padilla Family and extended family.

Tio,
You were a special man to us all. You made us laugh and smile so much. You taught and played the funnest games of marbles and indians arrows with us for hours on end. Adventures in the desert, black widow and wasp pit fights, and tooth brush bombing anthills were standards. You dropped us off to our first rock concert because your were a true
rock n' roller. I never got to draw that picture of Elvis you knew would be a hit, so I owe you one Tio. You were always an usher in church on Sundays and I thought you looked so handsome in your shirts. I liked that you were able to be so funny but also so solemn. I wish I was able to have spent more time with you as a man, I'm sure I could have learned a lot more about you and myself, but you sure made our childhood a very special and happy one. We love you Tio Fred and will always have you in our hearts, I look forward to seeing you play guitar and sing a tune in heaven one day.
May God Bless You.

Your smile and contagious laughter will be sorely missed...not to mention your way of pulling off some hilarious pranks on all of us. You made the air around you more joyous and lit up any room with your presence. Though I didn't see you often, you still left a loving imprint on my memories of you. Rest in peace, cousin.

I love the obit photo for this is exactly how I recall Freddie to mind. The last time I saw him he was our "tour guide" in McAllen when I and two sisters visited. We would not have had such a lovely time if he had not been with us. I thank God for the gift of his life to all of us. He was a kind, loving, gentle soul with a never-ending sense of humor. My "primito" will be sorely missed. I know he is so overjoyed to see Jesus along with his parents and brothers and other loved ones who have gone before him. We will all follow in time. God bless my dear cousin and he will not be forgotten. RIP Cousin Freddie.

Uncle Fred was the life at any family gatherings. He made us smile and laugh. You left us 4 months to the day after Roel, our brother, uncle, son and nephew. We all knew that you were a Texan, but your heart has always belonged in California, your final resting place. Rest In Peace.

I am surely going to miss my best cousin Fred. I had already missed him for about 15 years when he left Indio to go live in Texas for the rest of his life. Pete Villarreal.
