Oh my God, I worked with Doris at Security State Bank! She was a glamorous lady! Doris was kind and friendly; she shared her banking knowledge with colleagues and treated everyone with integrity. I remember when she explained to me the difference between a savings and a certificate deposit. She guided me into getting more for my money. She cared. Doris was a good person. God bless her and her family.

Doris was one of the original committee members who envisioned a reunion for PSJA Bears in Kerrville. It was indeed a pleasure to know her and work with her as the popularity of this event really "took off". She and the reunion have brought joy to several thousands of people in the last 20 years. What a sweet lady. We will miss her at our gatherings. Marvene Wallace (PSJA class of'55)

A heart of gold, a contagious smile, a faithful servant to her LORD ...that was my longtime, loving friend, Doris. I'm very sad but also there is a glint of happiness in my heart as now she can be with her beloved husband R.E.and her Lord.

I'll always love you my friend.
