ELISA BAZAN Obituary

ELISA BAZAN RIO GRANDE CITY - Elisa Bazan, 73, went to be with the Lord on August 15th, 2012. She passed away in McAllen Medical Center surrounded by her family. Born in Newton, Minnesota, Ms. Bazan was a long time resident of Rio Grande City. Elisa Bazan was a great woman, wonderful mother, loving grandmother, great-grandmother and a sister. Mrs. Bazan is survived by her brother Alberto(Lupita) Zamora and 10 children, Lupe Lopez, Antonio Bazan, Jr., Alberto (Mari) Bazan, Olga Bazan, Martha Carheel, Janie Zamora, Angie(Gabriel)Pulido, David(Rosie)Bazan, Eddie Lee Bazan, Jose Angel(Gina)Bazan; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation & viewing will be held at Sanchez Funeral Home from 9am-9pm with a service at 11am on Saturday August 18th, 2012. Elisa Bazan will be greatly missed. She loved and was loved by many. "I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust" Psalm 91:2 Sanchez Funeral Home of Rio Grande City is in charge of funeral arrangements.
