Jose Villanueva Obituary
He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Vicenta Villanueva; a brother, Jesus Villanueva; and his brother-in-law, Oscar Garza.
Mr. Villanueva is survived by his wife of 27 years, Maribel Villanueva; two children, Alyssa Villanueva and Luis Villanueva; seven siblings, Gloria Villanueva, Sergio (Mary) Villanueva, Genovevo (Lupita) Villanueva, Alicia Garza, Olga (Pablo) Villescas, Elena (Antonio) Rodriguez, Eleazar (Ceci) Villanueva; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, August 30, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan.
Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
