I just saw today of Marcelino 's passing. I am so sad. Marcelino was a true friend, so caring and such a gentleman. I have such good memories of our adventures when we were racing Quarter Horses. Since that time I have run across him and he always had a smile and we would reminisce of the good times. Blessings and prayers for the family.

It has been an honor and a privileged to have known Marcelino Davila Jr., my brother-in-law, as the epitome of a true gentleman and a Texan counted on to do the right thing through high ethical and moral standards, and was an exemplary role model for his family's and loved ones.
