Margarita A. Hernandez

Weslaco - Margarita A. Hernandez (88) passed away peacefully on March 21, 2023 in Weslaco, TX. She was the greatest example of love and grace. She lived a joyous life, often surrounded by nature and she was a faithful Catholic and friend. She is preceded in death by her husband Jesus C. Hernandez, her parents Manuel & Felipa Abrego, her brother Manuel Abrego Jr, and her son-in-law Gustavo Molina. Margie was so proud of her growing family. She is survived by her children Ricardo (Sylvia) Hernandez, Rosalinda Molina, Javier (Irma) Hernandez; her grandchildren Mario (Veronica) Hernandez, Richard (Christina) Molina, Judith (Michael) Maciel, Marlissa Hernandez; her great-grandchildren Mia and Nicolas Hernandez; her sister-in-law Violanda Abrego; her niece and nephew Sonia (Roy) Leal and Edward Abrego; and many extended family whom she adored. Services will be held at McCaleb Funeral Home on 3/24 (Visitation 1-9 pm; Rosary 7pm). Mass will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church on 3/25 9am, officiated by Fr. Francisco Solis; burial to follow at Weslaco City Cemetery. We are blessed with many memories of the amazing lady Margie was. Until we meet again...we love you forever.
