I just learned of Russell's passing. He and I knew each other professionally, albeit on opposite sides of the aisle. I was a young claims adjuster working in the Rio Grande Valley in the mid 1980s when Russell and I first met. He was always a kind, knowledgeable, professional gentleman. My sincere condolences to his family.

Our family was very sorry to learn of your loss of such a warm and kindhearted man. I know he was a lovely person through my brother Abel. Abel always spoke of Russell with gratitude and admiration for hiring him as a young lawyer, and mentoring him to partnership in his firm. Wishing you comfort and peace.
