Wilma Hepp Obituary

Wilma Eubank Hepp, 89, of Radcliff, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015.

Wilma was born in Monroe County and lived most of her life in Louisville.

She was a homemaker who worked at Aetna Life and Casualty Insurance Co. Wilma was a member of Valley View Baptist Church in Vine Grove.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Jacob John Hepp Jr.; her parents, Ottie and Lora Eubank; two brothers, Ralph and Morris Eubank; a sister, Elsie Farris; and a brother-in-law, Tom Turner.

Survivors include her children, Pat Hepp, Robert Hepp (Sandy), Cheryl "Sherry" Hepp Basham (Roger) and Lori Ann Hepp; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Eubank (Sylvia); three sisters, Marie Turner, Clarissa Alvey (Dick), and Ann Straney (Jerry); two sisters-in-law, Louise Eubank and Tillie Mains; and a brother-in-law, Bob Farris.

The funeral is at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ralph Avenue Baptist Church, 2900 Ralph Ave. in Louisville. Burial follows in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.

Visitation is from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville and continues at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.

A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands to rest, GOD breaks our hearts to prove to us, HE only takes the BEST....

My thoughts and prayers are with you Sherri, Pat and Bobby Dale.....Your mom and dad were ALWAYS there for us and I am so embarassed that I didn't come to the funeral but I was only told 20 minutes before.....I would have been there and honestly I have so MANY GREAT memories of my AUNT WILMA.....MANY MANY HUGS to you all, and I am so concerned over Lori.....I Love YOU ALL and would LOVE to Hear from some of my REAL FAMILY.....Pat I also worry about you.....GOD BLESS YOU ALL......and GOD BLESS aunt Wilma but the highlight is she is reunited with Uncle Bob.......just like my mom is reunited with her shepherd.....Love, Lynnie

Mrs. Hepp and her husband, Jacob, were patients of mine and also friends. Jacob was a grade school classmate of my father, Donald J. Steilberg. I am sorry to hear that they both have passed. My thoughts and prayers will be with the family during this difficult time.
