Bobbie Donald Bouge
March 21, 1933-January 28, 2010

Embraced in love and surrounded by his family, Bobbie Donald Bouge, beloved husband, father, grampa and friend, passed away at home the evening of January 28, 2010.
Bobbie was comforted in, and his family continues to be comforted in Jehovah's promise of resurrection and eternal life.
Born March 21, 1933 to Nathan and Jessie Bouge in St Joseph, MO, his parents and his many brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
Bobbie is survived by his wife of 55 years, Gerda; their children: Diana Swanson, Susan Bunce, Linda MacRae, Kurt and Patrick Bouge; sister, Pat Earl; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his good friend, Barry Morris; and several nieces and nephews.
Bobbie retired from the Army in 1971 after 21 years of service. He was a Korean and Vietnam War veteran. Bobbie then settled with his family in Olympia and later retired from Intercity Transit.
Bobbie was a kind and gentle man who enjoyed the simple things in life and making others laugh. He loved his family completely. Bobbie will be forever missed and held close in the hearts of those who love him.
A memorial will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Kingdom Hall located at 1199 North 9th Ave SW, Tumwater. The family suggests a donation to the Children's Cancer Society, local food bank or other charity.

Uncle Bobbie, you always had a kind word to anyone that needed to hear one or an open ear that listened to someone that needed to talk. I love you Uncle Bobbie. Thank you for helping so many people in this life and thank you for being my father figure.
