When somebody passes away,
A cloud turns into an angel,
and flies up to tell God to put another flower on a pillow.
A bird gives the message back to the world,
and sings a silent prayer that makes the rain cry.
People disappear, but they never really go away.
The spirits up there put the sun to bed,
wake up the grass,
and spin the world into dizzy circles.
Sometimes you can see them dancing in a cloud during the day time,
When they are supposed to be sleeping.
They paint the rainbows and also the sunset.
They make the waves splash and tug at the tide.
They toss shooting stars,
and listen to the wishes.
And when they sing windsongs,
They whisper to us,
"Don`t miss me to much. The view is nice and i`m doing just fine"
R.I.P. Robbie~ You will be greatly missed.

My sister just called me and told me the awful news. We lived down the street from Robbie for a time. We were pretty good buddies back in the day. As it happens all too often, we lost touch. I was able to visit with him a couple of times recently when I would take my kids skating. He was the same old Robbie, hadn't changed a bit. Same voice, same smile, same laugh. I wish I had taken the time to tell him how warmly my sister and I remember the days long ago when we would raise all manner of trouble, with Robbie in the lead. I would love to relate a funny story, but the best ones aren't for print!! God bless you, Robbie. You are thought of and loved. Our thoughts and prayers to Shawna, Amber and his whole family.

It didn't seem real when I heard about Robbie. He seemed like a really good kid to me whenever I got to see him. He is missed.

I think I first met Robbie when I was just a little elementary schooler and he always felt like a big brother at the rink. He watched out for us girls, and always had a way of making you feel good about yourself. I can't imagine going to Skateland and not having him there. It will be like something is missing...and something will be.
It's an all-skate Robbie...slowly and carefully in the right direction......

ROBBIE WAS ONE OF THE MOST HAPPY GO LUCKY PEOPLE THAT I HAVE EVER KNOW. WHENEVER HE WAS AROUND YOU COULD ALWAYS COUNT ON HIS SENSE OF HUMOR, HIS ENTHUSIASM IN STORY TELLING AND HIS ABILITY TO MAKE ANY SITUATION TURN OUT TO BE A GOOD TIME. ALTHOUGH I HAVEN'T SEEN HIM IN A WHILE I KNOW THAT IF I DO RETURN TO SKATELAND IT WILL DEFINATELY NOT BE THE SAME WITHOUT HIM THERE.

I am really Saddened and Shocked to hear this. I was Best friends with his Sister Shawna in Jr. High and High School. The last time I saw him, we stopped next to each other at a Stop light and chatted a bit.
I don't know what happened, but I do know he will be Missed by Many! RIP Robbie!
Shawna or Amber if you read this, get ahold of me!

Robbie was a fixture at Skateland. I have been there once since his passing, and his absence is felt. He will be missed by so many. I will miss him.
