Bo - I just found out today about Bob and I was at my luncheon with my 1966 classmates so I couldn't get to the memorial. My heart broke when I heard the news. Mom loved him so and spoke often about him. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Memories are wonderful.

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing, it is always hard to lose another member of the family. I really enjoyed the photo gallery. I love the picture of Bob with Aunt Hannah and Uncle Tom. It is such a great picture of all of them. Another favorite of mine is Bob and Beulah's wedding picture. I can remember looking at it every time I was at Aunt Hannah's home. They have always been such a stunning couple. My love and prayers to the family.

What a gentleman and a gentle man, a real class act and a pleasure to work with. I got to know Bob (Mr. Shaner, as we called him at school) and his beautiful wife Boo while working at Tumwater High School. What a classy couple, their love for each other just glowed around them. I always looked forward to their hugs at the front gate coming into the football stadium. Even as ill as he was, every game here they would come holding hands with big smiles on their faces. We loved you Bob and you will be missed. Boo, you and your family, will be in our thoughts and prayers.
