I am so very sorry for your loss. I am a big fan of Sean´s brother, Taylor Kinney. I know it has been awhile since he passed away but I just learned of his passing. Although, I did not know Sean, from what I have read about him, he sounds like a wonderful person. I feel for all of those who knew and loved him. I lost my son, Taylor on December 31, 2021. I found him in his room. He had been sick for a long time with many illnesses but I never expected that. It was literally the worse day of my life. I will always love and miss him everyday and I can´t wait to see him again. My love, hugs and prayers go out to all of his friends and family. May God bless all of you and keep you safe. With lots of love,

Lisa and Glenn,
My son played soccer with Sean in High School as well as when they were much younger. Everytime I saw Sean I always thought what a great kid he is. Sean touched lives of people that were mere acquaintances. Imagine the impact on those who really knew him. I'm sorry for your loss.

I only knew Sean a few short hours, but that is all it took to see he was a very kind and special young man who was deeply loved. My heart goes out to you and your family as you try to cope with such a horrible loss. Please know you are in the thoughts and prayers of all who cared for him.

Never forget those that are loved,
September 14th, 2008
yesterday and today have been an emotional wreck for everyone... with the passing of sean and the pain we've all felt its been draining. the key is to remember that he will live on in all of us, no matter how much or little we knew him. he is and always will be a part of the tumwater high school family. even those who have graduated are stunned by this tragedy and feel the pain that losing a T-Bird, a friend, a brother, brings.
our hearts are with the kinneys and all of those who loved sean.
from the T-Birds who cannot be at the service tonight, we are all there in spirit.
this wound will heal with time, but for now it is an open injury...
for most, it will mend and scar over leaving a faint rememberance of this hardship, but for those closest to sean, it will become a persistant pain.
this pain will allow us all to never forget;
never forget sean, never forget his smile, never forget how lucky and fortunate we all are. out of this terrible situation will bloom something beautiful; an appreciation for life. this beauty can be attributed to sean, so never forget.
from a T-Bird, removed

Glen and Lisa- You and the boys are in our thoughts and prayers. I can remember babysitting all 3 and trying to "protect" Sean from his older brothers. Just know that he is protecting all of you now! With love,

Sean was one of the most delightful kids I knew. I had the pleasure of coaching his youth football team for two years, and I could always count on "fingers" to lift the team. He will always be a champion.
