David Dennis Hoff

1954 - 2021

David Dennis Hoff was born on a sunny day in Vallejo, CA on April 19, 1954 to David C & Doris J Hoff.David moved to Vacaville in 1967 with his family, where he attended and graduated from Vacaville High School in 1972.After graduating high school, David went on to earn his B.A. in Economics at UC Santa Barbara in 1978 and his B.S in Computer Science at Coleman College, San Diego, CA in 1984.In 1989, David invented, designed, and distributed the Solar Roller, the roller that fits "Odd Shaped Pools." In 1999, SolarFactory.com was born.David went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2021, at his home in El Dorado County, CA. He was preceded in death by his mom, Doris J. Hoff; sister, Susan M. Nancett; and nephew, James J. Richards.David is survived by his father, David C Hoff, nieces, Amber M Reed and Julie A Harris. He is the great uncle to James Patrick, Lloyd Cargo V, James Hoff, Mark Harris, Joshua, Arabella, and Sofia Reed and great- great uncle to David and Susanna Patrick and Romani Hoff. David was a cornerstone to our family and will be greatly and deeply missed. A viewing will be held Tuesday February 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a graveside service follows from 2 to 3 p.m. Services are at Vaca Hills Chapel, 524 Elmira Rd., Vacaville, CA 95687.
