Lewis Wentworth Obituary
Lewis (Lewie) Charles Wentworth, 81, of Dixon since 1942, died Saturday, May 9. He was born Oct. 27, 1927 in Willows. He served as a Merchant Marine for 2 years.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 21, at 10 am, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Dixon. Lunch reception to follow. Internment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Dixon Youth Football, 775 Arwin Drive, Dixon, CA 95620, or Dixon High School Football, 555 College Way, Dixon, CA 95620.

Jo and family: We are so sorry to hear of Lewies passing. We will miss his smile and wave everyday on his way to the ballfields. Keep good memories alive, he was a great asset to Dixon.

LEWIE,YOU WERE AT ARMOUR FOR SO MANY YEARS AND YOU WERE DEFINITELY A BORN LEADER.IT WAS A WONDERFUL ERA AND I WORKED AT ARMOUR FROM 1962 TO 1966 AND YOU WERE ONE OF MY FAVORITES.I LEARNED ALOT ABOUT HOW TO WORK AND I WILL NEVER FORGET HOW NICE YOU WERE TO ALL YOUR CO-WORKERS.YOU ARE TRULY A GREAT MAN AND THE WORLD HAS LOST ONE IT'S FINEST.MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOUR FAMILY.JESS RUTLEDGE
