1954 - 2021

Timothy Patrick Dougherty, 67 of Ambler, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2021. He was surrounded by loved ones. Born on September 19, 1954 in Bala Cynwyd, he was the beloved son of Edward and Alice (Costello) Dougherty. He was raised in Plymouth Meeting with his 7 other siblings, and as an adult was a lifelong resident of Ambler. Tim was a custom home builder owning his own company, Cheyenne Construction. Tim was a vibrant spirit that cherished his family and friends. He was a passionate sailor, biker, avid lover of live music and the great outdoors; interests he enjoyed sharing with all who knew him throughout his life. Tim was loved dearly by his three children, Michelle, Shane and Kaci and their partners Matt, Bernadette and Jake, cherished grandsons Teague, Keller and Asher, siblings Kathy, Terry (Lisbet), Nancy (Jim), Charlie (Shannon), Peggy and Carolann (Rob), many nieces and nephews and long time partner Susan Schierenbeck. He now joins his Irish twin and older brother, Ed. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Tim’s colorful life on Sunday, December 12, 2021. A Visitation will be from 12 pm-2 pm at the Emil J. Ciavarelli Funeral Homes and Crematory, 951 E. Butler Pike, Ambler, PA 19002. The Memorial Service will begin at 2pm at the Funeral Home.
