Carlene Pyles Obituary

WEST FRANKFORT - Carlene Pyles, 58, died at 7:47 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, in Franklin Hospital in Benton.

She was born on July 29, 1955, in Wheeling, W.V. to Carl and Beulah (Colbertson) Wright.

She was of Pentecostal faith, a member of Cornerstone Pentecostal Church in West Frankfort, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, avid Cardinal fan, watched Judge Judy and loved flowers and cook-outs.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Larry Pyles of West Frankfort; two sons, Dan (Rebecca) Pyles of West Frankfort and Brent (Kara) Pyles of Herrin; two sisters, Cledith (Tom) Smith of Kentucky and Carole Wallace of Freeman Spur; and seven grandchildren, Kyleigh, Kadie, Brandon, Emilie, Skylar, Broctyn and Laiklyn.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 2013 in Greater Life Sanctuary in Benton, with Pastors Brent Pyles and Mark Fitzpatrick officiating. Burial will be in Denning Cemetery on Orient Road. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church.

Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort is in charge of arrangements

Memorials may be made to Greater Life Sanctuary 1208 S. Main St. Benton, IL.

i will always miss aunt carlene when I was a child stayin with uncle wayne and aunt carlene I remember always sayin prayers eating dinner as a family and getting ready for church it was a blessin to have had that time with her....god bless her for shes in a better place undoubtly with the lord
