Jordyn James-Baxter Obituary

MURPHYSBORO - Jordyn Eral James-Baxter, two years and three months, passed away at 7:05 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, in St. Louis Children's Hospital in St. Louis.

Jordyn was born on Aug. 16, 2011, in St. Louis, to Kailey James and Tyler Baxter.

He is survived by his mother of Murphysboro; his father of Murphysboro; and two brothers, Desmond Baxter of Cambria and Jayden Cox of Murphysboro; his grandmothers, Carol Varnum of Murphysboro and Flora Adem of Murphysboro; an uncle Jeff Baxter of Murphysboro; an aunt Jessica Clover of Murphysboro; cousins, Jennifer Baseden, Jayse Baxter, Tristen Baxter, Angela Roundtree, Taffy Smith and Sean Warren; and several great-uncles and great-aunts including, Shawn Levi, Rick and Jeanette Warren, Vicki Robinson, Linda Brown and Randy Baseden.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, in Murdale Gardens of Memory, with Pastor Adam Mach officiating. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Pettett Funeral Home in Murphysboro is in charge of arrangements.
